How it Works
Vital Vio’s precise spectrum of light, created with our patented LED technology, initiates a photo-activation
of porphyrin molecules found in microorganisms. This photo-activation leads to the production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). In high doses, ROS cause irreparable damage to the cellular structure, which leads to bacterial cell death.

Our Patient Compartment Light (PCL) Powered by Vital Vio is 23cm in diameter and 13mm in depth. Units operate on 12-24VDC or optional 110/240AC systems. The Patient Compartment Light is KKK-A-1822F certified, AMD compliant, and internationally certified by ISO IEC 62471 and UL. Each model comes with a 5-year warranty.
